Overview
Brief
History - Hearts&Minds
International Student Services was established
in 1999 in Auckland, New Zealand by Ms Puttiporn
Thompson, Education Manager, NZ Education Centre,
NZ Embassy Bangkok from 1996-1998. Puttiporn
has been dealing with students and parents for
over 10 years before she originated the office.
With professionalism and proficiency, Hearts&Minds
International Student Services is an office
of trust and reliability for students and parents.
Towards the end of the year 2002, Hearts&Minds
Education was materialised in Bangkok to accommodate
the rapid expansion and to answer the demanding
calls from Thai students and parents who have
expressed their keen interests in New Zealand
Education. Hearts & Minds Education Bagkok
is managed by Ms SirintornDuangkhot, an ex staff
of the New Zealand Embassy Bangkok and a New
Zealand graduate.
What
we believe - We
believe that international students succeed
more easily they have professional help and
sound guidance. Through our services, students
can avoid much of the stress and worry which
can come while studying abroad. They can focus
on learning and enjoy their success. Accordingly,
we provide students with accurate, adequate,
and suitable information and guidance which
will enable them make a right decision. We promote
the achievement in three aspects of development
i.e. intelligence quotient, emotional quotient,
and moral quotient as we endeavour to see our
students succeed academically as well as become
mature morally.
What
we do -Hearts&Minds
Education though a relatively new company, we
have been sending and assisting over 100 Thai
students to study in New Zealand. We provide
free educational counselling in all levels.
We apply for a study place and programme and
are also responsible for accommodation arrangement,
visa application as well as air ticket reservation.
We offer the guardianship services supervised
directly by Puttiporn. We are moreover able
to arrange study tour, seminar and New Zealand
education presentation. With our two offices
located in Bangkok and Auckland, we guarantee
the more reliable, efficient, and faster services.
We can take a closer care to our students as
well as deal with their needs and problems more
professionally.
Marketing
strategies - We
apply a number of marketing plans in recruiting
new students. Apart from the 'word of mouth'
marketing, we advertise our services in the
newspaper and internet. We do direct mails to
our potential students and parents. We are launching
our own website. We are even more proactively
visiting prospective schools and instititutions
in Bangkok. We also have promotional materials
to distribute to our visiting students and parents.
With all of the marketing strategies that we
have utilised, we expect more students to come
and inquire about New Zealand Education. We
are sure that as soon as they approach us they
will be impressed with our services and eventually
satisfy with their choice of New Zealand.
Our 4 members of staff are all keen to work
with New Zealand educational institutions. We
all have our dedication to do our best for the
Thai students. This is why our motto `we take
students' success to hearts' has a lot of meanings
as it describes well of our company's name and
what we aim to do.
